It’s Time To Get Your Twilight On – The Eclipse Scavenger Hunt Is Here

The Twilight Saga Eclipse Poster Its Time To Get Your Twilight On The Eclipse Scavenger Hunt Is Here

I don’t think there’s much I have to say when it comes to THE TWILIGHT SAGA. You know the actors. You know the characters. You know the books. And you know that THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE hits theatres on June 30.

But… what if you didn’t have to wait until June 30 to have to see it? What if you didn’t have to line up in advance for the midnight screenings in order to get a good seat? What if you didn’t have to brave the rabid crowds to see that very first show? Then again, what if that wasn’t the very first show anyway? Wait… what…?

What if there was an advance screening on Monday June 28, at 7:30 p.m., at the AMC Aventura 24 in Miami that you could attend instead, making you one of the first Twi-hards to see THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE a full 2 days early? Because The Kidd is absolutely ready to make it happen for you.

Thanks to Summit Entertainment, The Kidd has special tickets to this advance showing of THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE… but, better yet, I have your chance to win them, putting you in that theatre to see the next installment in the ongoing tale of Bella Swan, Edward Cullen, and Jacob Black.

And, in order to lay claim to them, you’re going to have to be a little bit good and a little bit lucky, as The Kidd is bringing back one of his legendary scavenger hunts in order to find 5 lucky individuals, who’ll be among the first to see ECLIPSE, with a guest of their choosing.

The Kidd has 5 pairs of passes up for grabs, and here’s how things are going to work.

There are 10 different items you need to find as part of the ECLIPSE scavenger hunt. You need to take a picture of yourself with each of these items. This means YOU must be in all pictures with the items. This is to prevent people from just snagging pictures online without doing any of the work. If you are not in any of the pictures, that picture does not count. In addition, I need to be able to make out the items in the photos. If I can’t see what you’re holding or identify the items on the list, those pictures do not count, so make absolutely, positively sure that every photo for every single list item is clear and legit.

In addition, speed isn’t necessarily going to help you on this scavenger hunt. In order to prevent groups of people going out, finding the items, and taking lots of pictures in the hopes of landing all of the tickets, a completed scavenger hunt is only half the battle. The other half is blind dumb luck. If you send in a completed scavenger hunt, that’ll put you in the running for a pair of passes to the screening, as, from the completed scavenger hunts, there will be a random drawing, and 5 names will be pulled out of my Infamous hat. Those 5 lucky individuals will be going to see THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE.

See… I told you. In order to win this contest, you’re going to need to be both lucky and good, so the best of luck to you.

Send your entries to Contests@InfamousKidd.com with the following subject line exactly:

I NEED TO SEE ECLIPSE FIRST

If you don’t have that subject line exactly, then you don’t have an entry. So cut and paste it, if you must, and be sure you have it perfectly, in all CAPS, or your entry will never even reach us. There’s a specific reason for the subject line needing to be exact, so, if you can’t even follow our first simple instruction than you are done before you ever really got going.

Next, be sure to include your name. This is a MUST. If your entry has no name, it doesn’t exist. I can’t give prizes to people with no name. I also don’t search for names or hunt for names, so, if your name isn’t clearly visible on your entry, then you’re out. Your name must be in the body of your e-mail. If it’s anywhere else, that’s too bad for you.

You have until Friday, June 25, at 1:00 p.m. to send in your entries. Winners will be posted on the site as of that afternoon upon completion of the drawing. One entry per person per e-mail per name. Therefore, multiple or duplicate entries from duplicate or similar names will be disqualified, as we are able to see the names attached to the accounts you are sending your entries from. Make sure you have all 10 pictures attached the first time you send them, because you only get one shot at this. Multiple attempts to send pictures results in duplicate entries, and I think I just covered that area.

Also, if you cannot attend this screening, do not enter. If you can’t get a babysitter, don’t enter. If you can’t get out of work early enough, don’t enter. If you have class, homework, chores, prior engagements, or previous commitments that would prevent you from attending this screening, do not enter… unless, of course, you’re comfortable with your name sitting on The Kidd’s Black List, which will have you ineligible to enter and win any further screening passes for a period of 6 months. Therefore, enter at your own risk, because, with only an exclusive amount of tickets available for this screening, I’m not messing around.

Finally, if you cannot find all 10 items, but want to take a shot that you are among the entries to have found the most on the list, go right ahead. In the event that we do not receive enough entries of a fully completed scavenger hunt, I will then accept entries that came the closest to being finished for the drawing.

All decisions and rulings are those of The Kidd’s, and my word is final.

Here is The Kidd’s list of items for THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE scavenger hunt:

  • Spool of red ribbon
  • A piece of jewelry featuring a heart-shaped diamond
  • An assembled tent
  • A motorcycle
  • A silver Volvo
  • A spork (because Forks would have been too easy)
  • A copy of the novel Wuthering Heights
  • A DVD copy of any movie featuring werewolves
  • THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE one sheet poster fully displayed (see headline picture above)
  • 2 separate TWILIGHT t-shirts, one featuring Edward and the other featuring Jacob (must be in the same picture)

Good luck to you all. You’re going to need it.
