Life As We Know It Gets A Poster
I’m not a big fan of Katherine Heigl… not at all. For someone who thinks so highly of herself and her work, she sure seems to go out and make the same shitty movie every time out it seems, while slamming the things that helped make her recognizable to begin with. She tore into KNOCKED UP, when that was really her first big movie role since MY FATHER THE HERO, and then she practically forced her way off GREY’S ANATOMY, in order to take advantage of this newfound fame. Granted, they had her having sex with a ghost for a period of time, but they recovered from that misstep by giving her cancer, which should have had Emmy written all over it. And what do we get from her tantrums that freed her up to do more films…? LIFE AS WE KNOW IT.
What’s this one about? “Holly Berenson is an up-and-coming caterer and Eric Messer is a promising network sports director. After a disastrous first date, the only thing they have in common is their dislike for each other and their love for their goddaughter, Sophie. But when they suddenly become all Sophie has in the world, Holly and Eric are forced to put their differences aside. Juggling career ambitions and competing social calendars, they’ll have to find some common ground while living under one roof.”
That’s right… people die. Their kid is left parentless, and somehow a romantic comedy with Josh Duhamel emerges from that. Great.
And now you can check out the newly released one sheet for the film, which… do I even need to say anything that the image of Katherine Heigl chasing around 2 different people of drastically different ages in their underwear doesn’t already say? Some of you will find this cute. The rest of you will proceed with a facepalm… hard.
I guess that’s just LIFE AS WE KNOW IT.
There are not many movies i’m less looking forward to then Life As We Know It…this story has been done wayyy too many times and this one looks like the worst rendering of it yet. I really liked Heigl after Knocked Up but things have just been going downhill after that what with The Ugly Truth and The Killers.
