Rango Now Gets A Full Trailer
RANGO just got its first teaser poster, letting you know that Johnny Depp’s voice will be starring as an animated lizard with a penchant for wearing flowered shirts. Well, now we get to see Rango in action, as the first full trailer for the film has been released.
It’s definitely different… and this could be interesting…
But am I going to find myself distracting by seeing Rango as more of a Johnny Depp character, or a character that just so happens to be played by Johnny Depp? When he first speaks, Depp’s voice was instantly recognizable, and, while that’s something that’ll be used as a selling point for the movie, it might not be something that blends into making this movie work.
Gore Verbinski is directing, marking the 4th time he’s worked together with Depp. Let’s just hope this has far less subplots than the PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN flicks.
