Ryan Reynolds In All Of His Green Lantern Glory
It was only a matter of time before the world finally got to catch the first look of Ryan Reynolds in full Green Lantern costume… and that time is today. In their special preview looking at the big movies heading to Comic-Con with something to get the fans excited, Entertainment Weekly gives you that initial glance, plastering Reynolds on the cover of their new issue.
You get a pretty good look at the ring, but it’s the costume that everyone is most interested in, as there’s no actual design Reynolds is wearing. The Green Lantern costume is entirely rendered as a special effect, with Reynolds sporting a motion-capture suit on-set in order to later add the suit.
I’m curious to hear what the Green Lantern fans think, since they’re the ones who are more likely to be pissed by any changes made to the overall look of the superhero. My initial reaction in checking out the cover – Why so serious?
