Scream 4 Adds 2 More Potential Victims
The casting carousel on SCREAM 4 continues to spin round and round with Wes Craven’s horror sequel adding another 2 potential victims to the film, with COMMUNITY’s Alison Brie and Mary McDonnell signing on, according to The Hollywood Reporter and The Wrap.
There’s no word on Mary McDonnell’s role as of yet, but Alison Brie might have one of the more interesting character descriptions I’ve seen created for SCREAM 4 thus far. Brie would play Rebecca, who serves as Sidney Prescott’s personal assistant and is jealous of her boss’ fame stemming from the events that have transpired in Woodsboro and beyond. Which, of course, begs the question – what is Sidney Prescott doing now that she needs a personal assistant?
The more I hear about SCREAM 4, the more excited I get about what Wes Craven and Kevin Williamson will be bringing to the screen and to the revival of the franchise next April. And bringing the hot Alison Brie aboard with quite the unique character doesn’t change that.
Fans of COMMUNITY swear by her, so I’ll take their word that this is an excellent addition.
I started out watching COMMUNITY, and I probably would still be to this day, if my DVR could handle all of those shows in the exact same time slot. Sorry, but casualties sometimes happen… and in this case, it was COMMUNITY. Oh well.
