Scream 4 Set Pic Raises Some Interesting Possibilities
Things have been all quiet on the SCREAM 4 front since all sorts of vicious rumors began floating around about major script upheaval. Shooting is underway, and it appears as if the cast is finally settled… and now the waiting begins. With the plot and, more importantly, the identity of the killer locked up somewhere in the security vault held in Wes Carven’s ass, there isn’t much to do, except sit and wait for April 15 of next year, when we’ll be able to determine whether or not this newly planned trilogy was genius or a really bad idea.
A couple of new set pics have been released, courtesy of the Daily Mail, and, if you like looking at Hayden Panettiere hanging out with a bunch of other people her age while giving away no information, then these first 2 images are for you. However, it’s the last one that really caught The Kidd’s attention. The Ghostface masks are everywhere… and I mean, everywhere. Could this be what was referred to previously as the town of Woodsboro having some sort of obsession?
Perhaps the town has embraced its notoriety as being the scene of a crime that spawned numerous faux movies, a couple of books, and many dead people. Hmmm… this does open up some interesting possibilities as to where Wes Craven and Kevin Williamson are going with all of this. Has Woodsboro become a tourist trap for the sick and twisted who are obsessed with serial killers? Or are stranger things afoot at the Circle K?
