The Ga’Hoole Owls Receive Their Final Poster
The final one sheet for LEGEND OF THE GUARDIANS: THE OWLS OF GA’HOOLE has been released (courtesy of Yahoo!), and it’s really all you should expect from the very last poster. It has all the characters grouped together in a nice shot, with a beautiful background, letting you know the very date you can watch the movie in 3-D, IMAX 3-D, and, in that little tiny print at the bottom, 2-D.
Personally, I liked the individual character posters that at least differentiated the owls a little, giving each a bit of personality as they explained their various roles in the grand scheme of things. The way this group shot looks, it appears as if the owls are collectively keeping a close watch on me, so that the second I go inside, they can fly over to my car and shit all over it. I’m sure that’s not what the movie is about, but that’s at least the vibe I’m getting from the one sheet… especially from the one on the left with his head cocked to the side. I feel like he’s taunting me, because I can’t poop on his ride. I mean, technically I could, but have you ever tried to drop a deuce on a bird in flight? Neither have I, but I imagine it’s damn near impossible.
At least on the bright side, I’m expecting something good from Zack Snyder’s next film, and I look forward to seeing it at the end of September… even though it’s just a cover for more birds to shit on my car while I’m watching it.
