The New Scott Pilgrim Poster Hits Love Where It Hurts
When SCOTT PILGRIM happens, The Kidd is there. This summer hasn’t offered up much, but outside of a few sure things (TOY STORY 3 and INCEPTION), one has really had to take a good look at the calender through the end of August to find something that jumps out and really interests you. And that’s how we keep going back to SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD.
Everything I’ve seen from this movie so far has gotten me more amped up, more excited, more interested in finally seeing it all put together on August 13. I’ve even resisted the temptation to rip through the graphic novels, so as to be able to go in fresh and unspoiled when the movie rolls around. Other than INCEPTION, this is the movie I want to see, and it looks like the good stuff keeps on coming.
The new SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD one sheet hit today, and, while it’s a bit more basic than previous efforts, this one goes a bit further in explaining the premise for those who might be looking at the poster, saying to themselves “Ugh!! Michael Cera again?!”
I know… YEAR ONE did irreparable damage to some of you.
However, take some comfort in the fact that SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD goes out of its way to hit love where it hurts… and, where that is, I still have no idea. I’ve been sitting here for a good 15 minutes trying to come up with an answer. If Love was a dude, then it’d probably be right in his balls. That’s a place no one wants to take a shot. But, if Love is a woman… hmmm… I don’t know. In the tit…? The ovaries…? The vagina…?
Help me out here, ladies. I don’t have that type of equipment. Where’s the hurtiest place for a woman to get hit?

I really want to see Machete but that’s September 3rd. Which technically is still summer but, I always count the last weekend in August as the final summer weekend for movies.
I also want to see The Other Guys, but the trailer has not really impressed me. But neither did the Step Brothers trailer and I LOVED THAT MOVIE.
