The Virginity Hit Red Band Trailer Will Teach You What Not To Do If You Want To Get Laid

Out of nowhere, a small film hit Comic-Con about a bunch of guys who decide it’d be a great idea to set up a camera and film their friend losing his virginity to a hot chick, and the hijinks that occur after she find the camera. THE VIRGINITY HIT really surprised everyone, as no one had any idea this film was even in the works, but with Will Ferrell and Adam McKay driving this flick forward as producers, people have started to take notice.

A September 10 release has been slapped on it, and the red band trailer premiered at Comic-Con has delicately been making its way around in the shadows, where Sony can’t hunt it down and hide it. This extended cut hasn’t really sold The Kidd, as there are aspects of the trailer that are hilariously funny, such as Matt’s loser friend pretending to fuck the bed in a way that he’d only do if there was no one on the bed to fuck (his words, not mine), but then there are jokes that don’t quite work… and, for a trailer to be so hit and miss isn’t the best first impression.

Ferrell and McKay did screen THE VIRGINITY HIT in its entirety at the convention, and those that were lucky enough to see it all the way through came out saying it was genuinely a funny movie… so there is hope. I am digging the mockumentary feel of it all, but we’ll have to see. A story about kids shooting to lose their virginities has been done before. Therefore, it’s really up to the characters to make this all work.
