These Splicers Get To See Splice Because Of Their Splicing
This might have been one of the easiest contests The Kidd has ever held, short of you just showing up and asking for some movie tickets, which people still found a way to screw up. In order to land passes to the advance screening of “Splice” in Miami, all you needed to do was put together your own genetic engineering equation. Give me a celebrity and their DNA, put it in a petri dish with the DNA of some kind of animal, and then name the freakish species that results from your mad science genius ways. Strangely enough, people still managed to screw this up. That’s right… out of all the celebrities in the world, and all the animals in the world, a couple of people managed to send me the exact same entry. Really…? Really. Coincidence? Plagiarism? Call it whatever you want. In any event, if you sent in Georgerilla (George Clooney + a gorilla), i’ve got some bad news for you. You’ll be staying at home Tuesday night. Oh, come on… like you didn’t see that one coming.
With that ugly business out of the way, we can move onto something more pleasant, namely who is coming to see “Splice” with The Kidd, on Tuesday, June 1, at 8:00 p.m. at the Regal South Beach Cinemas. There were some very interesting concepts here, some highly entertaining ones also, and then, of course, some WTF ideas. However, if The Kidd liked it, then you’re in, and this time around, I gave you the option to take as many people as you wanted with you to this screening. So, if you made our list, the number next to your name isn’t how many passes you’re getting, it’s how many additional people you can bring with you.

like, so, while you review your ticket pick-up instructions, absolutely enjoy what they were able to come up with.The Kidd will be inside the box office entrance to the Regal South Beach Cinemas on the first floor on Tuesday, June 1, starting at 6:45 p.m., all the way until 7:15. Show me your photo ID, so I can verify that you are who you say that you are, and you’ll claim your winnings. All passes must be picked up by the name we have on our list, and passes are non-transferable. NO SUBSTITUTES!!! Also, once the clock ticks 7:15, I’m gone, and so are your passes… so be there early and on-time, or you’re going to be without a ticket into the show.
In addition, if your name is on our list, we expect you to pick up your passes. We want to make sure we have as many Kiddos in that packed house as possible, and your entry into this contest told us that you were absolutely, positively sure that you could make it. We expect you to make it. However, The Kidd understands that sometimes things come up last minute – an accident, your car won’t start, someone got sick, the dog ate your homework, etc. Hey, it happens. Therefore, if you no-show, your name will be added to The Kidd’s watch list, and a second no-show 
will have you banned from contests/giveaways and ineligible to win prizes on InfamousKidd.com. So, keep that in mind…
Remember… just because you have won passes does not mean you have won seats, as the screening is first-come, first-served. The show starts at 8:00 p.m., so the earlier you show up to grab your prize, the better off you’ll be. Just know that The Kidd doesn’t control the door, so it isn’t up to me who gets in and who doesn’t at that point. I’ll get you in the line, but when you show up is really going to determine if that means you get inside the theatre. You might even want to have your friends get in line and stay there, while you pick up the passes. Show up early, as this will be a packed house, and it’s very likely that people may be turned away at the door who don’t get in. You don’t want to be one of those people. So I cannot stress enough for you to get there early.
Congratulations to the winners. You delivered some good stuff, and, as a result, you’re heading out to see “Splice” on me and with me Tuesday night.
