This Isn’t The Emma Frost Anyone Wants To See
Shooting is underway on Matthew Vaughn’s attempt to finally make an X-Men movie with X-MEN: FIRST CLASS, and some set pics have been circulating, giving us our first glimpse of January Jones as Emma Frost. And, for those of you who were finally hoping to see a real live human being portray the sexy, scantily clad mutant as you always imagined her to be, well, right now, you’re not going to get it.
In fact, there’s nothing sexy or scantily clad about this version of the White Queen we’re seeing. There’s nothing even beautiful… or pretty about her. If you find a chick wearing a trench coat that allows you to see nothing underneath, white hooker boots, and a puffy hat I think George Costanza once wore that was made out of rat… if you find that attractive, then this is right up your alley. I mean, she looks like a S’more, not like anything fanboys will be pleasuring themselves to.
Hopefully, Matthew Vaughn has something else up his sleeve, and at some point, January Jones will instantly get hotter, because if she stays looking like the wife of Ivan Drago the entire film, people are going to be pissed.

1) I’m sure she’s not wrapped up all the time. There’s OBVIOUSLY something under the coat. And I’m betting we get to see it.
2) THIS IS A PERIOD PIECE!!! It’s set in the 60s…so you’re seeing a 60′s/70′s version which is right in line with the comics.
It’s going to be better than people think.
