Twilight Night Takes Over 12 Cities, Including Miami
If you’re a die-hard Twi-hard, there are a couple different things you might be doing this weekend in order to prepare for next week’s release of THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE. You could be watching an endless loop of the first two movies in order to mentally prepare yourself for what you’re about the see on June 30. You might be breezing through the 4 books and additional novella in order to fully embrace your devotion to Team Edward or Team Jacob. You may even be packing up supplies for the next couple of days in order to camp out at your favorite theatre, guaranteeing that you are the first person to grab a seat for the midnight showing of ECLIPSE. But, if you’re lucky enough to be in one of 12 select cities across the country, what you should be doing is attending Twilight Night, an extravaganza of TWILIGHT proportions where TWILIGHT fans gather to do TWILIGHT things all in the name of TWILIGHT… it just so happens one of those locations is The Kidd’s home base of Miami.
Twilight Night will have all types of special events going on, from specially themed photo booths, makeup stations, henna tattoo artists, and more… with the more including an appearance in Miami by Mike Newton (Michael Welch) to introduce some brand new ECLIPSE footage and interact with the fans in a Q&A section, plus a screening of NEW MOON in its entirety to be enjoyed with massive amounts of fellow TWILIGHT fans.
Doors will open at 6 p.m. in each hosting city, with a different TWILIGHT talent appearing at each event in Atlanta, Dallas, Denver, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Portland, Salt Lake City, St. Louis, San Diego, Seattle, and Washington, D.C. For more information and details concerning those particular venues, hit up http://eclipsethemovie.com, or you can watch the livestream of events in San Diego and Philadelphia online at www.moviefone.com/twilightnight.
But, if you are down in South Florida, Twilight Night will be taking place at the Gusman Center for the Performing Arts, with wristbands being handed out at the venue starting at 10 a.m. Wristbands are first come, first served, so get there early in the morning to get your hands on one, because a wristband will guarantee you entry.
If you’re a Twi-hard, this is the place to be this weekend… out in full force with the rest of the TWILIGHT fandom.
