Who Gets To Experience The Event? These Winners Do
The Kidd is always a fan of good TV. After all, I need something to kick back on the couch with, as I relax and take a break from watching, reading, or experiencing movies all the time. It’s easy to get burnt out, and taking some time away to watch some fine television programming is one of my releases. I’m always on the look-out for good shows right at the beginning, so I can follow them all the way through from their very inception to the end. I hate having to play catch-up later on, spending 3 or 4 days straight blasting through seasons on DVD. It’s exhausting.
THE EVENT looks like it could be one of the winners this fall season, and NBC is pushing it in a big way. If they didn’t strongly believe they’ve got something really good for you to see, there’s no way they’d be rolling out the first episode in such a grand manner – premiering it theatres across the country, for audiences to witness it on the big screen. Therefore, there is reason to be optimistic that there’s a new series that’ll hook you this year, and some of you are going to experience it firsthand weeks before anyone else.
